During 4-5/12/2013 the directorate of Veterinary in Duhok province executed a training course for (20) vets on subjects related to fish management and disease, this was a part of this directorate plans for capacity building for the staff for 2013. The course started with a welcoming by (Dr.diyar Tayeb) the director of veterinary, talking about the importance of this course in improving the quality of health services in the province in regarding the fish diseases, he appreciate the efforts done by the course organizers staff to make it see the light, he also thanked the course trainer (Dr.Mayada Fuad Hasson) from the university of Duhok and wished the successful for the participants. This followed by a speech by (Serwan Sa,aid ) director of fish wealth in the general directorate  of animal wealth and veterinary  in the  KRG, he thanked  directorate of Veterinary in Duhok for executing this course and mentioned the KRG plan to support the fish breeding in the region. The first day started with theoretical lecturers at the hall of directorate and the practical part was in a fish cage farm in Sumail area at Mosul dam, in the second day both lectures were at a Salomon fish in Deralok area in Amedi east to Duhok city. At the ending ceremony certificate of participation distributed among the participants.
