Under the slogan (Modernizing Veterinary legislation for good Governance) the oie conducted its first Global Conference on Veterinary Legislation by the support of (EU, Australian Gov., OIRSA, Tunis Gov.). the ministry of Agriculture and water resources participated in this event by delegation composed of ( Dr.Feraat Hedayet , GD of Animal Wealth and Veterinary in KRG, and Dr. Diyar Tayeb Mohammed Director of Veterinary in Duhok Province. The delegation mate with G director of oie Dr. Bernard Vallat and handle him a gold gift represent map of Kurdistan, and give a brief few of Veterinary Services in the region and future plan to improve it. Them there was a meeting with Dr. president of WVA and his Vis president, the delegation asked WVA to accept Kurdistan Veterinary Syndicate as an official member, there were a positive reaction to this demand and this issue will be discussed in the coming meeting of WVA, he was also handled a gold gift represent map of Kurdistan.
