Erbil: The Ministry of Agriculture in Kurdistan region, addressed the importance of the richness of fish poses as a significant economic resource, the Ministry has identified a large area within their development programs for the development of the agricultural sector, both plant, animal, drawing on the expertise of local and international authorities. In this regard, the Ministry Mr. Abdul Aziz , general directorate, advisers and experts from both ministries of agriculture , science and technology in the Federal Government of Iraq an extended seminar on the importance of fisheries and ways to development it. In a speech, the minister declared the attention paid by the ministry to this aspect, noting that the conditions and the natural environment suitable in the region of interest, explaining that this wealth was the establishment of many of the plants feed the fish Hatcheries and urged fish farmers to organize themselves into associations in order to unify their needs and benefit from the support of Department of material and moral, after a number of relevant observations and views on the development of this wealth was presented with the most important projects and plans of the Directorate of Fisheries in the Ministry.
