On 10/02/2013 a meeting was hold between directorate of health prevention and directorate of veterinary in Duhok province, the main issues were concerning on the bilateral cooperation and coordination on the subjects of public health, zonotic diseases, food safety, and health certificates for any enterprises dealing with animal products and food processing. This meeting was very constructive, both parties agreed on exchanging information regarding zoonotic diseases, the field public health teams should work together, focusing on the health side of the slaughter houses and food processing units, and mobile fish sellers should localized outside city centers .
